Our Clinics & Services

Blood Clinic


A walk in blood clinic is held at Hillview Surgery every weekday morning from 8.00am to 11.30am. There is no need for an appointment but please be prepared to wait as the clinics can be busy. Please bring your blood test form with you.


Childhood Immunisation


A baby immunisation clinic is held on Friday morning. Press option 1 and follow the instructions or you can book an appointment via reception.


A clinic held on Tuesday morning offers appointments for mum to have a post natal check and baby to have their first immunisations.


A clinic held on Tuesday afternoon with a doctor is for baby's 8 week development check. 


These clinics are both for pre-booked appointments. 


Diabetic Clinic


Patients with Diabetes are cared for in a nurse led Diabetic clinic on Mionday, Thursday and Friday mornings with nurses who are specialised in Diabetes. Hillview Surgery has adopted the Year of Care approach to care planning since November 2011, this happens at the annual review and aims to fully include patients in their diabetic treatment and future management.  Patients can also make appointments to see the Diabetic nurses in normal surgeries if they have any concerns or issues prior to their Annual review. 


The annual review process involves 2 visits.  Visit one will be with the healthcare assistant who will take the annual blood test, urine, weight, blood pressure and foot screening. 


The second visit will be with the diabetic nurse to discuss the results and set goals for the coming year.


Appointments with Nurses and Healthcare Assistants


Appointments are available throughout the week for Asthma, Blood Pressure and Diabetic Checks, Health Checks, Medication Reviews, Contraception, HRT and Smear Tests.


IUDs and implants are fitted at pre-booked appointments. Please request a telephone consultation with Dr Siva who will discuss your requirements and arrange your appoinment.


District Nursing Team


District nurses provide care to patients in their homes and give practical advice or assistance to patient’s relatives and carers in coping with illness at home. Patients who require a district nurse are either referred to them via their GP or hospital.


Maternity Care


We share antenatal care with your hospital of choice. Once you find out you are pregnant please ring the surgery to book an antenatal referral appointment with the doctor who will give you further. The Community Midwife from Ealing Hospital will see all mothers and mothers-to-be on our behalf at Perivale Childrens Centre. Please call 020 3313 7500 Monday - Friday between 2.00pm - 4.00pm to book your appointment from 25 weeks pregnancy.


Minor Surgery


Minor surgery is conducted at Hillview Surgery for skin tags, warts and fatty lumps. If you have a problem you would like to discuss with a doctor  please book a telephone triage appointment for further advice.  The minor surgery clinic is held twice a month on Saturday mornings.


Private Medicals


Certain requests are not part of the NHS and therefore Hillview Surgery reserves the right to charge patients an administration charge. This includes medicals for insurances, fostering, driver medicals, certain travel vaccinations, insurance claim forms and support or information letters addressed ‘To Whom It May Concern’. You will be notified when your forms/letter are ready for collection and of any charges that apply. Details of charges can be requested in advance from Reception. Please note Private Services Fees over £20.00 should be made by Card Payment, we are unable to accept cash payment.


We perform these requests outside routine consultations by prior arrangement


Travel Vaccination


Book an appointment with a nurse who will advise you. Remember to allow sufficient time to complete the appropriate immunisation schedule before travelling.


There is a charge for some vaccinations. There is also a charge of £15.00 per patient for prescriptions for some malaria medications.

Private Healthcare Services


In addition to the NHS services there are a range of private healthcare services available at Hillview Surgery.  These services are provided by fully qualified independant providers and include: 

  • Watmans Pharmacy: who provides over the counter and prescription medication including a prescription collection and delivery service, advice and passport photos
  • Este Dent: who provides private aesthetic and dental treatment.  You can get further details of the services they provide from their website by clicking here.

There will be a fee for the non-NHS services provided. Further information including the cost and full details of all available services can be provided by the providers.
