Your Local GP Is Getting Even Better!

We’re making changes to improve how you access care. Here’s what’s coming:

Non-urgent advice: 1. Maintaining 90% of Calls Answered Within 10 Minutes

We are continuing to improve access to our telephone system to ensure patients can reach us quickly and efficiently. Our aim is to maintain high call answering standards, with 90% of calls answered within 10 minutes, helping patients access the right care and support in a timely way.

Non-urgent advice: 2. Offering 4 PCN Engagement Meetings This Year

We are committed to listening to our patients and involving them in shaping local services. This year, we will be holding four Patient Participation and engagement meetings across our Primary Care Network (PCN), giving patients opportunities to share feedback, ask questions, and help influence improvements to care and access.

Non-urgent advice: 3. Working with Populations Based on Clinical Need

We are focused on delivering care that meets the needs of our local population. By identifying patients who may need additional support, including those with long-term conditions or complex health needs, we can provide more proactive, personalised, and appropriate care.

Non-urgent advice: 4. Offering Continuity When and Where Appropriate

We recognise the importance of continuity of care, particularly for patients with ongoing or complex health conditions. Where appropriate and possible, we aim to provide patients with appointments with the same clinician or team to support better communication, consistency, and health outcomes.
